"There's safety in numbers!" he said,
As he and the crowd plunged over the edge
While I was wasting time.
I've found my avenue -
I built this gauge to measure myself,
And now for the first time
I'm the picture of western health.
Stuck in a room with a view and struck dumb,
Dreaming of golden days in the sun...
But you can't turn back time.
And now I find in all it's light
That all the world's a stage
And my character is badly cast
But adequately played -
This mechanism moves in waves.
Moving on, breaking through,
Stepping out of a crouded room
Into clear blue sea,
Breaking down western walls,
Reach for undiscovered shores...
I'm free.
