Tender waves caress frail structures of my creation,
I found shelter in these fragile walls,
I walk along these barren plains in solitude,
Protected from all they have, i crave
The microcosmos, my existence,
The impenetrable calm, though lifeless, worthless
Cursed by my creation, please tell me,
Is this my damnation?
The storm instils fear to my core,
A fear of anything meaningful,
A fear of everything pure
For I can only walk within these walls,
Sheltered from the rain,
For I can only walk within these walls,
Though I walk in pain
If I could only cross the borderline,
And set myself free,
But the landscape is foreboding,
These walls will be the death of me
Will the storm corrode this towering divide?
Release me from this cage,
Enslaved internally, I wonder,
Am I trapped eternally?
