시편35장
1 여호와여 나와 다투는 자와 다투시고 나와 싸우는 자와 싸우소서 Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me.
2 방패와 손 방패를 잡으시고 일어나 나를 도우소서
Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.
3 창을 빼사 나를 쫓는 자의 길을 막으시고 또 내 영혼에게 나는 네 구원이라 이르소서
Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Say to my soul, "I am your salvation."
4 내 생명을 찾는 자들이 부끄러워 수치를 당하게 하시며 나를 상해하려 하는 자들이 물러가 낭패를 당하게 하소서
May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.
5 그들을 바람 앞에 겨와 같게 하시고 여호와의 천사가 그들을 몰아내게 하소서
May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 그들의 길을 어둡고 미끄럽게 하시며 여호와의 천사가 그들을 뒤쫓게 하소서 may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 그들이 까닭 없이 나를 잡으려고 그들의 그물을 웅덩이에 숨기며 까닭 없이 내 생명을 해하려고 함정을 팠사오니
Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 멸망이 순식간에 그에게 닥치게 하시며 그가 숨긴 그물에 자기가 잡히게 하시며 멸망 중에 떨어지게 하소서
may ruin overtake them by surprise-may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 내 영혼이 여호와를 즐거워함이여 그의 구원을 기뻐하리로다
Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in his salvation.
10 내 모든 뼈가 이르기를 여호와와 같은 이가 누구냐 그는 가난한 자를 그보다 강한 자에게서 건지시고 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 노략하는 자에게서 건지시는 이라 하리로다
My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like you, O LORD? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them."
11 불의한 증인들이 일어나서 내가 알지 못하는 일로 내게 질문하며 Ruthless witnesses come forward; they question me on things I know nothing about.
12 내게 선을 악으로 갚아 나의 영혼을 외롭게 하나
They repay me evil for good and leave my soul forlorn.
13 나는 그들이 병 들었을 때에 굵은 베 옷을 입으며 금식하여 내 영혼을 괴롭게 하였더니 내 기도가 내 품으로 돌아왔도다
Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting. When my prayers returned to me unanswered,
14 내가 나의 친구와 형제에게 행함 같이 그들에게 행하였으며 내가 몸을 굽히고 슬퍼하기를 어머니를 곡함 같이 하였도다
I went about mourning as though for my friend or brother. I bowed my head in grief as though weeping for my mother.
15 그러나 내가 넘어지매 그들이 기뻐하여 서로 모임이여 불량배가 내가 알지 못하는 중에 모여서 나를 치며 찢기를 마지아니하도다 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; attackers gathered against me when I was unaware. They slandered me without ceasing.
16 그들은 연회에서 망령되이 조롱하는 자 같이 나를 향하여 그들의 이를 갈도다
Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked; they gnashed their teeth at me.
17 주여 어느 때까지 관망하시려 하나이까 내 영혼을 저 멸망자에게서 구원하시며 내 유일한 것을 사자들에게서 건지소서
O Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue my life from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.
18 내가 대회 중에서 주께 감사하며 많은 백성 중에서 주를 찬송하리이다
I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among throngs of people I will praise you.
19 부당하게 나의 원수된 자가 나로 말미암아 기뻐하지 못하게 하시며 까닭 없이 나를 미워하는 자들이 서로 눈짓하지 못하게 하소서 Let not those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; let not those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye.
20 무릇 그들은 화평을 말하지 아니하고 오히려 평안히 땅에 사는 자들을 거짓말로 모략하며
They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land.
21 또 그들이 나를 향하여 입을 크게 벌리고 하하 우리가 목격하였다 하나이다
They gape at me and say, "Aha! Aha! With our own eyes we have seen it."
22 여호와여 주께서 이를 보셨사오니 잠잠하지 마옵소서 주여 나를 멀리하지 마옵소서
O LORD, you have seen this; be not silent. Do not be far from me, O Lord.
23 나의 하나님, 나의 주여 떨치고 깨셔서 나를 공판하시며 나의 송사를 다스리소서
Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord.
24 여호와 나의 하나님이여 주의 공의대로 나를 판단하사 그들이 나로 말미암아 기뻐하지 못하게 하소서
Vindicate me in your righteousness, O LORD my God; do not let them gloat over me.
25 그들이 마음속으로 이르기를 아하 소원을 성취하였다 하지 못하게 하시며 우리가 그를 삼켰다 말하지 못하게 하소서
Do not let them think, "Aha, just what we wanted!" or say, "We have swallowed him up."
26 나의 재난을 기뻐하는 자들이 함께 부끄러워 낭패를 당하게 하시며 나를 향하여 스스로 뽐내는 자들이 수치와 욕을 당하게 하소서 May all who gloat over my distress be put to shame and confusion; may all who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and disgrace.
27 나의 의를 즐거워하는 자들이 기꺼이 노래 부르고 즐거워하게 하시며 그의 종의 평안함을 기뻐하시는 여호와는 위대하시다 하는 말을 그들이 항상 말하게 하소서
May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, "The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant."
28 나의 혀가 주의 의를 말하며 종일토록 주를 찬송하리이다
My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long.
